Building a Jewish-Arab majority for peace, equality, and justice.
Standing Together is one of the largest Jewish-Arab grassroots movements in Israel, working toward an end to the occupation, peace, equality, and social and climate justice.
The movement brings Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel together around shared interests and broad solidarity. Its work seeks to build a new majority in Israeli society: people from diverse communities who believe that a better future must be based on freedom, safety, equality, and dignity for all who live on the land.
Their Role in Civil Society
Standing Together plays a major role in Israel’s shared society and grassroots organizing ecosystem.
Through local chapters, student chapters, national campaigns, protective presence, political education, and community spaces, the movement organizes people across the country around peace, equality, anti-racism, and social justice. Its work challenges the idea that identity must determine political affiliation, and instead builds partnerships around the shared needs of those harmed by the existing reality.
