Gaza Support Network is a grassroots, people-powered initiative responding directly to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Initiated and spearheaded by Israeli women in May 2025, GSN brings together communities of donors and volunteers to create financial safety nets and support networks for families in Gaza. This Israeli-led structure is central to what makes the initiative unique: it is not only humanitarian support for Gaza, but an expression of responsibility and solidarity and across a forced separation.
At the center of the model are direct personal relationships. Small networks of supporters connect with families facing urgent needs in Gaza, offering monthly assistance, emergency support, and an ongoing envelope of care.
Their Role in Civil Society
Gaza Support Network plays a distinctive role in the Palestinian and Israeli civil society ecosystem by turning direct human connection into practical support for families in Gaza.
Its work begins with personal relationships: Israelis and supporters around the world reaching across the forced disconnection between Israelis and Palestinians in Gaza, building trust one relationship at a time, and responding to needs identified through direct communication with families and communities on the ground.
Through family support networks, emergency fundraising, medical consultations, orphan support, community initiatives, and support for Al Anwar displacement camp, GSN provides flexible assistance that can adapt quickly to changing realities. Its approach is practical and deeply human: food, shelter, medicine, rent, sanitation, emotional support, and connection offered through a network of people who choose not to look away.

The organization brings together donors, volunteers, coordinators, and families to provide financial, emotional, and material support during an unbearable humanitarian disaster. Through monthly family support networks, emergency aid, community projects, and “last mile” coordination between established aid organizations and people on the ground, GSN works to offer relief, stability, dignity, and safety to families in Gaza.
