Partner: Unapologetic: The Third Narrative
Unapologetic: The Third Narrative is an independent podcast created and hosted by Palestinian activists Amira Mohammed and Ibrahim Abu Ahmad.
Together, they explore what they call the Third Narrative: a way of speaking about the land between the river and the sea that refuses both polarization and erasure. The podcast is unapologetic about where its hosts speak from, while creating space for complexity, identity, justice, and shared humanity.
Season 1, launched in late October 2023, introduced personal stories that revealed the layered identities of people living in this space. Season 2 builds on that foundation and moves the podcast toward action.
What B8 of Hope Supported
In 2025, B8 of Hope supported the production of Season 2 of Unapologetic: The Third Narrative.
This new season amplifies the voices of organizers and initiatives confronting injustice, with a particular focus on Palestinian activism and women’s leadership. It also shows listeners concrete ways to support and engage in meaningful change.
As Season 2 developed, the team expanded the podcast’s reach through long-form conversations, video content, transcripts, clips, and visual storytelling shared across platforms. By the end of 2025, Season 2 content had reached more than one million views.
What the Grant Made Possible
B8 of Hope’s support helped Unapologetic: The Third Narrative grow from a storytelling platform into a space for public learning, organizing, and action.
Season 2 helped bring forward voices and strategies that rarely surface in mainstream coverage of Israel and Palestine. Through long-form conversations, listeners were invited to encounter Palestinian perspectives with depth, nuance, and moral clarity.
The grant also helped the team make the podcast more accessible and visible, allowing its conversations to reach wider audiences across multiple platforms.

In a public landscape often shaped by slogans, binaries, and erasure, Unapologetic: The Third Narrative creates room for something more grounded: Palestinian voices speaking for themselves, organizers explaining their work, and listeners being invited not only to understand, but to engage.
